(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I need help. My friend bought a jailbroken ps3. I have my own on rebug 4.70.1 d-rex. I have had mine for about 6 months. So my friend just bought one and she wanted to know how to go online and it had psnpatch and stuff already installed and she doesn't know much about it. She said it has webman and I'm pretty sure it's cex. So I told her to go online go into psnpatch and press triangle to disable cfw and exit and she said it beeped 3 times and shut off and it won't turn on now... Can someone help me? And tell me what's wrong and what I can do to help her fix it?

Ask her to format the hdd on the pc to fat 32. Also ask her to view this thread so she can determine exactly what is wrong. You must login or register to view this content.

Okay I was just thinking maybe the psnpatch she had wasn't compatible with her firmware and therefore it caused an issue. Could I just have her put it in safe mode and restore it and I'll get her on everything she needs that I know works, do you think that would work?

If she can get in to safe mode ask her to reinstall the firmware on it and then rebuild file system.

Okay and one last question, within doing that will it mess anything up with the jailbreak?
I'm pretty sure as long as she doesn't update it, it will be fine right?

No as your reinstalling the CFW.

Everything will be fine and yes as long as she dont update it. And tell her to make sure she dont have a disk in the disk drive when re installing CFW
