You need a piece of hardware called an e3 flasher to flash the ps3 to 3.55 to install cfw.

NO even if you have an E3 flasher, 3004A is not compatible with 3.55. Which means you can't jailbreak it, but you can install an ODE. (Hardware Mod)

Sen is correct, that model cannot be downgraded or jailbroken at all regardless if you have an e3. The latest model that can be modded is a CECH-2501B

I realise that his cant be downgraded. I am just telling him you need a e3 flasher.
