Recently took everything apart to downgrade , set it up right . Then when I turned on the PS3 to actually create a backup with the e3 flasher I waited until it gave me a no hard drive error then pressed start .... After this my e3 flasher didn't respond at all and after about a minute my PS3 just starts blinking red lights ?
Also I thought I bricked my console so I put it back together stock and everything was fine although I did get a warning saying my system was too hot ,, (first time )
Could anyone please give me a solution to the e3 flasher not responding ? I tried creating more pressure with tape and a rubber beneath the clip but still no success .
Edit : as of now I removed the thermal paste and overheating problem seems to be solved and also got the e3 flasher to actually turn on , getting lights 3,4,7 flashing so will try something in the next few days
