I have a CFW PS3 with REBUG 4.70.1 D-REX. Sorry if some of the questions are nooby and stupid.1. I've read that a spoofer is not required if using DEX, is this true? If so, how do I spoof my ps3 with the DEX firmware and can SEN enabler be of any use to me in lowering my chance of getting banned? If it's not true, would I just use SEN enabler to spoof my ps3 to 4.75?
2. What measures can I take to prevent myself from getting banned? So far I've read that I should change my active ps3id to CEX, use psninja to wipe history, and use pspatch to disable syscalls, to avoid getting banned. Is there anything else that I can do that I'm missing?
3. If I do the above and change my active ps3id to CEX, use psninja to wipe history, and use pspatch to disable syscalls, will I still be able to mod? I know I won't be able to use my homebrew apps, but will mod menus and RTM'ing still work? If not, what would I need to do to keep modding functionality while still minimizing my chance of getting banned as much as possible?
4. If I wanted to just play normally without modding, could I make my disguise my ps3 as an OFW to prevent getting banned?
5. Can I use both TMAPI and CCAPI if I have my PC and ps3 both connected to my router? Or do I have to connect my ps3 to my pc and bridge connections?
6. How can I install a game on my ps3 and use it with multiman if I have the ISO? Do I also need any additional files for compatibility?
7. My hdd is only 120gb, so if I wanted to have several games, how could I go about storing them? Could I use an external hdd and play my games off of that?

im only going to answer a few...
1. you should always spoof no matter what, you can use sen enabler but i use psnpatch and psninja to hide your cid, and your always risk getting cid ban even if you sign on psn lol

Hi. Well...
1. Depending which DEX fw you're on you will not need a spoof as im sure the latest update had no effect on ITA. But some will require a spoof, i recommend SEN Enabler
2. You just have to be careful. Disablig syscalls can help but not always as using psn patch and psn ninja does more harm then good as certain syscalls are being called and lv2 is not overwritten so it still pops up on sonys computer that you're on illegal software. But use if you feel you will be safer but in all honesty i wont recommend them.
3.Changing your kernel to cex will make no difference (in terms of safety) and as i mentioned above using psn patch and psn ninja does more harm then good. Also you will still be able to mod and stuff as normal.
4.You cant do this fully but i recommend you look in to dual booting.
5. Yes TMAPI(wired) Dex required and CCAPI (wireless) Both can be used.
6. You extract the iso to a folder on your usb or ehdd called GAMES (or GAMEZ)
7.Yes you can use a EHDD as long as its format is Fat32
