I think that is the Ylod, look at some fixes on the Internet

It's the YLOD aka the yellow light of death. There are a few tricks to fix it though. Do the hair dryer trick.

Its the Yellow Light Of Death Playstations equivilant to Red Ring of Death, there are a few trustworthy video's on how to fix it online, but none are really going to be permanant fix's as this is a serious issue, you do not have to buy a complete new console to fix it, just buy yourself a new hard-drive. I got YLOD a long while ago and what i done was saved anything important 'to the cloud' and bought a new hard-drive(make sure it fits the PS3 case) And i was able to play fine on it after with no issues at all! You're going to lose all your campaign mode progress but its worth it too be able to play again :lol:

You don't really have to get a new hard drive. You can just use a hair dryer to blow the dust off, clean the PS3 a bit, then install new thermal paste.

Yeah but is that really a permanant fix? If it is fair enough i'll accept i was wrong!
Replacing the hard-drive to me is the best option though!
