I have got the e3 flasher connected to the ps3 but i receive erros when i try to update/back up,

im the same, all I seem to get is error's it wont even back up. :S

You need a fuck load of pressure on it I used a clamp worked fine. I had the same problem when doing mine so I bought a clamp and it worked. They cost about £1.50 at a hardware store.

haha could you please close this thread, i know exactly what i did wrong, its all kool i downgraded. i used a clamp and that was it
