Have you tried reinstalling 4.70 Drex after the swap or
Try the 999 downgrader after you swap the hdd keep in mind you will have to install Ur cfw again

Yes I have tryed I put my old hdd back in the ps3 till I figure it out. I have a ps3 down cause it's in some gay update loop I installed gta 5 turn off my ps3 poof update loop on my phat ps3 it's on habib 4.75 cex all because I installed gta a 5 I can't fix this loop. My woman plays on the dex ps3 when I'm at work but the cex is down

Hey man disable Ur internet and Spoofer then downgrade to 3.55 swap hdd and install downrader again then upgrade to your cfw of Ur choice
