I need help upgrading it without messing anything up, i also want to find out on how to transfer all my games from the old hard drive i have now, to the new one without messing with the jailbreak. I'm new at this so anything will help. If their is a thread of this already then i'm sorry i couldnt find one. Thanks

When you get it just make sure your ps3 is off and unplug and take out the old hardrive, take off the holder on the old one and put it on the new one. Then put the new one in and when u reboot your console it will format the hardrive and youll be ready to go

what about all the stuff from the old hard drive ? how do i put them in the new one ? & will it mess the jailbreak up ? im just trying to upgrade it but keep the stuff i have on right now.

Upload all your game saves onto another drive... then when you install the new hard drive re-upload them

what about the spoof , mmcm , etc. would i have to move all that too ?

remove spoof and then u put new hd in ull have to reinstall the fw u was on, make sure its a cfw else ull end up updating and be shit out of luck

so right now im on 4.70 spoofed to 4.76 (DEX), im trying not to lose everything & end up downloading everything again.. How do i back up everything ? where do i get the cfw at ? the way to to do it bro is downgrade to 3.55 rebug downgrader and go to 3.55 ofw then insert ur new hard drive and re put your cfw firmware hope this helps you i plan to do this also
