Post: PS3 Console ID
10-23-2015, 11:39 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I followed some video on youtube saying to use the utilities menu in rebug toolbox to change the active PS3ID, I did this and now im getting an error 8002a224 when i try to sign in, I tried installing PS3ITA to try restore my PS3ID but it fails to start every time, just hangs on a black screen, Is there any way i can restore my original console id or do i need a new one? Also i have a few old ps3s here, some ylod and some dvd rom issues, Can i recover cosole IDs from these or do they need to be downgraded first for me to retrieve it?

You should just use CCAPI to do all of this. If the console id is banned there is no use restoring the old one.

You can change your CID like this easily... you can't restore a banned CID

Step 1: Create a .txt document

Step 2: Inside the .txt write idps= write your 32 character long IDPS here

Strep 3: Save the .txt as psnpatch.cfg

Step 4: Put psnpatch.cfg on the root of your USB...

Step 5: Plug the USB into your PS3 then run PSNPATCH

Step 6: Once PSNPATCH is running click "Square" on your controller and click "X"

Where is a reliable source for console IDs?

Or am i able to recover console IDs from the pile of PHAT PS3s to use on my SLIM?

I didnt ban the consoles original ID just deleted it by mistake i think, Is there a way to restore it even if i didnt make any backups?

From You must login or register to view this content. it seems the the option you chose gave you the choice of restoring eid0 or eid5. Did you try choosing the option again?
