(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My PS3 is in a well ventilated area, and my fan goes to like 90% and it's just so loud I do clean it but what else can I do my thermal paste is new aswell

What CFW Are you on? What PS3 Model Do You Have?

Mines a 2001A Slim Model On Rebug 4.75.3 Rebug Dex I Have Webman Setup So My Fan Speed Is Usually Around 30-40% Manual AN Stays Between 48-55 While On GTA V.. I Replace My Thermal Paste Every 2 yrs

But when I am idle it happens, my rsx is low

Check Your Webman Settings If Its On Auto At A Certain Temp The Fan Will Go To Max To Keep It Under The Set Temp. Also Could Be A False OverHeat Usually I Re-Install The CFW When It Does That..But I Recommend You Checking Your Thermal Paste Especially On A Fat PS3

Theres probably a problem with your fan then. If you cant replace it then try unplugging it from the motherboard and plugging it back in and re installing your CFW
