what a PSID is
weather or not you can urban a console with a PSID
if sony can ban a PSID
if sony can ban a console ID using a PSID
if you can use a PSID as a console ID
if a PSID is really that important
and any other information about a PSID if possible

cid is console id where u can change on cfw(if ps3 are banned)
psid u can change too but dont need.it,s the "id" from console not console id.
u can not set psid as console id.no way.

What a PSID is

PSID is another identification number of your console, don't worry you do not need to change this to get unbanned...

Normally, actually all the time it's a IDPS(CID) that is banned...

If sony can ban a PSID

If they can ban a IDPS(CID) then I'm pretty sure they could do the same to the PSID...

If sony can ban a console ID using a PSID

Don't believe so, since your changing your IDPS(CID) it's from different regions and such... So, both the IDPS and PSID will be different.

If you can use a PSID as a console ID

No that is not possible...

No, it's not that important and the majority of the times it's on the IDPS(CID) you need to change...

And any other information about a PSID if possible

It's just another Identification of your console...

IDPS is the console ID, PSID is the 2ndary console ID, so when you get banned by a game they ban the PSID, when you get banned from PSN it's the IDPS, n both can b changed. You cant sign into PSN with an invalid IDPS, you can sign in with an invalid PSID however if you do look forward to getting IDPS banned by Sony within a week. Also if you sign in with 2 valid ID's that are from different PS3's then you'll get banned within 2 months. So it's not advised to use mismatching IDPS n PSID,
