Post: blu ray problem after downgrade

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi all, I have patched my OFW 4.76 using e3, and then downgrade it to 3.55, then to REBUG 4.46.1 REX, then to dex, then to PS3ITA 4.65.
In OFW 4.76 the blu ray was working perfectly.
but in PS3ITA 4.65 it didn't work!!. I don't know about the 3.55 and 4.46.1 since I didn't try it
When I put the disc it take it and no game appears in the XMB! Also, I notice that the blue light is always off unless i put a disc and when I eject the disc manually or using (webman, iris, XMB ..etc) it takes toooo long to eject it.

I'm sure the problem is software, since I changed the led panel and the ribbon.

When I try to lunch a Homebrew it won't start unless I eject the disc if there's a disc in the PS3 of course.

Now I downgrade it to rogero 3.55, and when I put a disc I hear like it want to eject it and the blue light is blinking as if it ejecting as normal
and still not working and same as what I said up

Note the patched e3 is all OK!, I have checked it

Simply my problem: no blue light, no game apper, disc in = light on(same as normal)

I tried restore file system in 3.55, and still the proble exisit
In multiman there's a blinking disc with title STart Game from Disc (PSX/PS3) blinking with icons golden, blue and transpert color disc
and this maseeage:
Data BD/DVD/CD disc detected in tary - configurging access, please wait...
and when it's gone I click on Start Game from Disc (PSX/PS3) and it take for ever with black screen

First, I would try to

1. Boot ps3 into recovery
2. Select option "Restore File System"
Check for change
If no change,
3. Boot ps3 into recovery
4. Select option "Rebuild Database"
Check for change
If no change,
5. Install a different cfw such as rebug to rule out firmware/software issue
Check for change
If no change,
6. Put a DVD/Cd into the disc drive
7. Scroll to video/music to see if a disc displays
If a disc displays, then your bluray laser is shot

Let us know what happens.

Restore File System
and
Rebuild Database

I have did many times, though I notice something strange:
I take off the blu ray driver and run the ps3 without it, it runs with only green light and when I click eject, it eject it(theoretically) and the blue light will stay, As normal.

I will change the blu ray driver tomorrow to see if there's a chnger, here it's 2 AM

Looks like the blu ray is damaged, I'll dissemble it to see, and conclude what I have started....

No, That's a bad idea. Don't disassemble it unless you plan to change the Blu Ray lens... most faults are due to that, or some could be damaged components which are not visible.
