I get a 8002A224

8002A224 means invalid console id.

Either your console id is incorrect or you've converted to dex.
You'll have to set your console id in something like CCAPI.

I'm on Dex

Use ccapi to set your console I'd. You will need it on your ps3 and pc. It's easy to use just install the ccapi pkg file from install pkg files under games tab then run it , it will install and exit. Then get your ps3 up adress.and go to ur computer and install ccapi on your computer. After that open ccapi then hit at the top left "add new console" click on this then enter your ps3 ip then hit save. Then right click over your ps3 ip in the column and hit "connect". You should get " connection to ps3 successful. Then click on idps/psid tab on the top then enter or copy and paste your cid in the first box then select set new cid and set boot cid, do the same if your cid came with psid. Then your good to go. Just load up your game disable syscalls and firmware with psn patch and then delete history.

If this doesn't work I believe if you edit your cid and look for the number 82 and change it to 84 should help.

If this doesn't work cid could be banned or not a real cid so you might have to buy a new one

The CID(IDPS) that you are using, is it valid? Also, how long have you been on DEX and have you used your CID(IDPS) on DEX before...

I just switched Sunday but before that I was able to go online
