Verify if you are on CEX or DEX using rebug toolbox, and only install cfw based on your target type.

If it won't let you update to rogero downgrader, your target type is probably still DEX.

Verify your folder structure is correct:
fat32formattedflashdriveroot/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

disable all other program options, and let rebug options roam around, and upgrade through usb. PS3/UPDATE/UPDAT.PUP

If you're qa flagged, then you can downgrade back to 4.76 no problem.
