Post: Ps3 slim fan led wiring help

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I wanted to put a led stip inside my Ps3. But i was trying it before i soldier the wires so just taped them. So I cut the dark red and black wires on the fan to expose the wire. Then i wrapped the 2 wires that would go to the led strip around each wire. And then i put the positve and the negative wires where they should go. And i turned on the Ps3 but it didnt light up. I know the wires are receiving power because the fan is spinning and i accidentally touched the two wires and i shorted the system😬. It still works but i cant the leds to turn on, when i plug it in the wall it works just fine. Any ideas why??
