I thought it was with the clip but I put pressure on it did few more backups with the same thing ending up in Norinspector
And I went ahead and tried looking for info but I couldn't find anything about it

hey there, i stopped using norinspector long time ago and i flash alot of ps3's,

i just verify the size (16,777,216bytes)

then i use the PS3 Flash Tool v4.50 (works great) to check/patch the dump for all fw 4.50+

just as of this second I am downloading the ps3 flash tool and il report back when I get to check it

Says it failed 29 out of 39 checks, so any idea what might be causing this?

I do recommend to use the FlashTool instead of NORinspector, and if FlashTool shows any red, it is most likely to be from bad/inconsistent/uneven pressure when extracting the backup. Try using a clamp.

Verify none of the teeth on your clip are damaged or touching each other, etc and maybe lightly brush them off a little.

Sorry I kept getting disconnected from NGU,
Anyway I went ahead and took the e3 off and cleaned the clip with a brush and checked the pins which they look fine, Reapplied e3 and then put pressure on it, Backed up another and checked size like ya said to and its now 16,816,725 bytes
Ran it through the flash tool and it failed 29 of 39 checks again heres log of flash tool

when u put the clip on the chip u can check to make sure its all the way on.
look from the side (get a flashlight if need be) and you will be able to see the clip making contact with motherboard

if u see a gap between clip and board , push harder. sometimes u can even see the shiny legs (solder) when clip isnt all the way down
