on my old hdd all i had to do was launch webman game of choice launch pspatch hit disable cfw (triangle) and finally psninja top 3 wipe replace and make history read only and was safely able to play only being banned once due to reports i guess never happened again though so that's most likely all it was but how do you go about fixing my hdd to where i can do like my old hdd

Thread moved to PS3 Mods Questions and Inquiries.

Make sure that you are entering the CID as 32 characters. A Console ID is 32 characters. Also, make sure that you are going to Rebug Toolbox and going to Utilities tab and changing your PS3ID to the CEX one.

It won't go to CEX. It's just you need to make your CID on CEX. It won't affect your system anyway. It's just something you need to do on DEX every time you reboot the PS3.

You should only set Boot IDPS and PSID once. Then, restart. Once you restart, go to Multiman and load your game. Then, go to Rebug Toolbox and set the PS3ID to CEX. After that, you can use PSNPatch to disable syscalls. Then, try to sign in.
