Hey guys,
Is there a way to enter the recovery mode without spoofing my cfw?
I have rebug 4.7 or 4.6? Idk XD
It says, I need to update my firmware, but I don't want to.

Or maybe there is a other way to restore the file system.
My ps3 freezes sometimes and when I turn off the ps3 manually it turns completely off without the red LED. I need to turn the power button twice, that sucks. ^^
Hope you can help.
Kind of confusing question.
Recovery mode doesn't require that you be signed in or spoof your cfw..
If it is telling you to update your firmware when trying to sign in, you need to get a firmware spoofer so it will "spoof" your current firmware to match Sony's current official firmware, which is currently 4.78
You can use arch's 4.78 spoofer
You must login or register to view this content.
If your ps3 is freezing or shutting off, it can be a result of incompatibility, corruption, overheating...
To enter recovery mode:
1. Press the power button to power off the console
2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep upon turning on, then beep again, then beep twice in which case you should let go of the power button.
You will be greeted with the recovery menu
Options "restore file system" and "rebuild database" may help you with your freezing issue.
Make sure softwares that you use are compatible with the firmware, and not causing corruption...
If not you might take a look at your temps while running. If it is overheating causing it to shut off, you will need to replace thermal paste and hope for the best. If that does not help, it will need a reflow, a reball, or to be replaced.
