i been told its harder to downgrade i only ever did the slim
soo i just wanted to ask before i start taken it apart

i was told you have to do more to downgrade it
or can i just install the e3 like the slims ?

I believe it's more complicated but am not 100% on it, unfortunately can't help you too much with that. I deal with software.

E3 is for NOR and for NAND you would use a Teensy++ i believe.

Just a note to what Jessie said I've worked on a few nand ps3s. I use a modifyed teensy with 360 clip which makes it a hell of a lot easier cause dont nees to solder all them wires for doing the nands comes in handy for unbricking or doing it at a later point if you got reasonable soldering skills there's a few tuts on youtube on wire install and process as well as 360clip mod and process. Trust me the 360 clip makes it so much easier if done right though its reads are not as fast
