For some of you reading this thread, it would be a pleasure to understand the point of view from a professional modder as the modder who sold me this ps3, didn't give an uterly crap to help me at least but spam me telling me to talk to you guys here at Next Gen Update.
I am new to modding and I bought the ps3 and I need help modding. I use a mac and I need some advice. I am going to post scenarios showing you what I should do. Here we go!
1. On my PS3 that I don't have jailbroken, I go online to see players playing peacefully and lobbys are full and at least 50000 people play a day with 10k people in TDM. I go on and I find a lobby in just under 10 seconds. When I'm on my jailbroken ps3, I go online and when I join a lobby it say's "Waiting for 6 more players" and I spent at least 57 minutes 48 seconds just waiting for this to go away and find me a match. My connection is really good but I don't know whats happening.
2. Every account I make, I go onto GTA V online, I turn on PS Ninja v.4 and I do R2 + Triangle, according to what my guy said and he installed something with that makes the history go away and stays disabled so no data is added to system. I go online and I enter story mode and I sign in. When I sign in, I change my console ID and decide to go into GTA V online. As soon as I'm there, I get banned. Can you guys tell me what I'm doing wrong and what I need? I am using the Power v4 mod menu.*
3. I want to mod on bo2 and I want good mod menus like Jiggy V4, Bossam V6, Revolution, etc. but I'm using a Mac. I try my best to open files on Wine but 99.5 % percent of the time, all those files don't work. The only file that works is ControlConsoleAPI. Can someone tell me what to do? I really want to have fun but I just cant and don't have enough money to get to Windows and Microsoft.
4. What are required packages that I should and must install if I want to be a full modder?

Hi there swubby23. I'm going to assist you as I am a owner of a cfw PS3 my self so I know the ropes pretty well. To comment on the guy who sold you the ps3 and told you to join here at ngu he was actually doing you a favor. He is not being a jerk or not wanting to help you. Again he actually directed you to a very supportive community so he did help you. And now to address the issue of running programs/applications on a mac system.
As you will learn and observe from your time here at ngu most applications, package files, and homebrews are 9/10 meant for windows based systems. So in order to use any sort of 'Mod tools' as there referred to here you will need to do either one of 3 things. 1: Buy a windows system. 2: install bootcamp on your mac which will enable you to run both mac and windows on your mac. Or 3: Install a program called virtual machine to allow the use of windows based programs to be used on your mac device.
And also to touch base on why you are getting banned I highly recommedn using a paid more well known and popular menu such as the LTS sprx, serendipity sprx, or lexicon sprx as these are some of the most used menus to date. PM me if you need help

1. Mention the game next time. Try deleting your game update then reinstalling it to see if that's fixed it.
2. I believe you meant PSNPatch, as that app has that functionality. Not PSNNinja. Are you getting banned from GTA each time or are you already banned? I believe you are already banned and you are mistaken. Try to access GTA on another account.
3. You're going to need a Windows computer in order to mod most things. All you can do is file based mods, so use sprx.
4. I'd recommend Multiman, Rebug Toolbox, and what you already have is good enough.

1. The game is Black Ops 2. How do I do that?
2. I created 4 accounts, I joined each time and I got online and joined a session with some players, 2 seconds later, I am banned. Currently banned on 3 accounts till July 15, the other one is July 12th.
3. I'm trying to use bootcamp at the moment to see where that works.

1. Go to Game Data Utility in the Game XMB and delete Black Ops 2. Then relaunch the game and it will prompt you to update.
2. Make sure you get a modded eboot to bypass security checks. Any one of them should work and you can find them all in the GTA Mods section.
3. I'm not sure if any of those type of programs will work, but I don't recommend it. Good luck though!
