On your PS3 you click the CCAPI App and it'll say do you want to uninstall you click yes, once it's done it'll be uninstalled. You then download the newest CCAPI here: You must login or register to view this content. and install the .exe on your PC and install the .pkg by putting it on a USB drive that's formatted to FAT32 and plugging it into the RIGHT USB port and installing the .pkg file on your PS3.

Hmm that's not possible as i'm on 4.80.1 -REX and using that newest version of CCAPI i linked you so not sure why it's saying it's not compatible when clearly it is.

i canno't unistall ccapi 2.60 from drex 4.80.1 because when i launch the pkg it says
Control Console API V2.60 made by Enstone
Detected firmware: 4.80 DEX
Main features
-Real time memory editing on CEX/DEX
-Debugging non-fself
-VSH Module loading
- And more...

Your firmware is *NOT* supported. Press OK to exit.

I've updated my ps3 from drex 4.75.3 to drex 4.80.1 this morning.
I know that ccapi 2.80 works on 4.80.1

Is there a way to unistall ccapi manually without format?

It auto uninstalls when changing CFW. Just delete the app itself and install that one.

If you have Multiman try going into the File Manager then go to devhdd0/game and delete ENSTONEXX as that's CCAPI.

Most likely one of your debug settings is doing this. What's your boot mode and release check mode?

That would only corrupt part of the file system.
