nice simply method - but yes 99% sure your get the A224 error - i personaly did this on my sons ps3 and just put a new idps on the system , apparently you can reset the original idps to prevent this , changing ( 82 / 85 / 87 )

on the other systems i own i used idps set ( or something like that ) same kind of process but doesnt give you this error - its a pkg file - im sure if you youtube that name it will come up and i am sure the pkg is on here and can most likely link you if need be ( i think tustin made a thread on this back in the day )

good luck Smile

im pretty sure you can install directly over, from memory this is what i did.

as for the 22a4 error i ususaly set my CID with ccapi and it seems to fix it

so just put my private CID like i used to do in CEX and save it as boot cid ? i don't need to do the REBUG Toolbox method ? and this will fix the error forever so i don't have to set it with every boot ?

thanks Smile

yeah set it to boot mode in CCAPI

and with rebug toolbox i would aslo make sure the cid is set to CEX mode, i forgot the name of the setting but you should be able to work it out xD
