Updating the psn store wont affect anything negatively. Although, you may have best results if you spoof your cfw to the latest sony firmware (which is currently 4.81)
You can do this with SENenabler, assuming your cfw is compatible (its rebug so it should be)
You must login or register to view this content.
install SENenabler to your ps3
open SENenabler, select option "SEN/PSN options">Allow SEN access>allow it to hard reboot

When it restarts, go to the second column from the left on the XMB>system settings>system info and your firmware should now match that of sony's official firmware(4.81)

Then update the store. Not sure if it is necessary to spoof, but if simply updating the psn store doesn't work out, try to spoof your firmware.

Let us know how it goes!

So u saying before I download the store software I should update to 4.81 or it don't matter?

And what's spoof? And how do I spoof if it's necessary

Im not saying to update to official sony firmware, you don't want to do that.

You want to spoof your firmware.

You can spoof your firmware with SENenabler, then update the psn store.

Spoofing the firmware will make the system display that it is on the latest sony firmware, but it's really not.

Download and install You must login or register to view this content. to your ps3
Open SENenabler on your ps3, go to PSN/SEN options>allow SEN access, Allow it to hard reboot

When it reboots, go to system settings, system info and your firmware should display (4.81), but its really still on the same cfw you are on. That means you are spoofed.

I don't know the region code for bo2 (BLESxxxxx/BLUSxxxxxx etc)..
but you probably installed a different region mappack than the game's region.

Lets say you are on BLUS, but you installed BLES mappacks:
In this case you should be able to go to dev_hdd0/game/BLESxxxxx/ and find the dlc files for the mappacks, then throw them in the dev_hdd0/game/BLUSxxxxx.
I hope that makes sense.

Let us know if it works out.
