(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok trying to figure out the best way to go about this i have a ps3 i bought that wasnt working. i fixed it and put cfw on it he had a ton of games but they were no longer accessible so i patched them and made them all work seemed easier then re downloading new games and there is plenty of space.. anyway so before doing all this work i didnt think about it being linked to his account now i want to go online with my own account and thats where i'm stuck... *so if i make a new account and delete his does that only lose saves or will all those game be gone too? or is it just saves and trophy's and that stuff..

Will just be saves & trophies from what I'm aware - shouldn't delete the games/dlc unless you format it.

lol that doesnt sound 100% sure haha i really dont want to download all that stuff again looking for that 100% answer

i'll prolly even pull off the saves and unlock them if thats all i have to do just want to be positive i wont lose the games and dlc..

Sorry not done it for a while, they've updated it to delete all content including downloaded games if you delete the profile.

If you've got CFW why not back up the games to another folder before you delete the profile - then just load them through webman or multiman?

i tried moving a game like that from one of my ps3's to another but it wouldnt show up i assumed it is because they are installed as psn games and arnt able to be placed in folders like that

and webman would be fine if they did but i dont want my 8yr old playing around in multiman trying to find games... they are his ps3's i built for him.. if that would work i would consider it for webman.. but like i said i ftp both and tried transferring one psn game to another ps3 and i couldnt find it in webman or mm.

and another thing is i dont have the pkg files for like 20 or more games that were already on this ps3 that im worried about losing
