Lag switch help!!!! FOR MODEM/ROUTER

Once upon a time...

NextGenUpdate

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so i just made my lag switch yesterday. i did everything right and the network settings on my ps3 are all correct. but i read somewhere that lag switches only works with a router and a modem separate.

i have an actiontec pk5000 modem/router
i connected ps3----LS-----modem/router

so whenever i use it i get dc off of psn.
also i need help on how to use the lag switch because maybe im not using it right. PLZ HElp ME!!!

You are prob switching it off for too long. You can only lag for a couple of seconds without getting dc. Also, lagging doesn't help on most games unless you are host of the game. If your still having trouble with the switch, maybe you should try a software lag switch to see if you get the same results. I use a program called "Laggsta". I paid for it, but they got a free trial that would work for you to test it
