First of all you need to "root" your HTC Hero

Secondly, you need to install any custom rom( I used this one)

After those steps are complete

You need to install a custom recovery image.

(Scroll down to Recovery Rom)

When done, just boot into recovery everytime you need to jailbreak your PS3. (Hold down "End call" and "Home")

Once those steps have been complete, follow the rest of the tutorial on the PSFREEDOM link.
