What tutorial did you use? Then I can try to help you.

Turn your PS3 off (completely off, cable out) then turn it on (cable on, don't start anything)
Back to your Iphone, connect it to your PS3 with a usb and run IphoDroid, once it says 'unit' (alot lines).. turn your ps3 on and immediately pres the 'eject' button.

Ha mate I wouldn't worry its very difficult, I think I will just wait now till a cydia app is released by musclenerd

Ah u just turning your ps3 on too early... wait till the screen of your ipod touch to fill up with "unit" and then press power then eject :p

already tried but the same result, it says; A Unknown Device Detected

Alright. going from your video... the only thing that was incorrect was not waiting long enough.

thats all i could see that you were doing wrong. u had nothing in any other usb port. obviously the code was loading up which shows it was working. and u pressed eject fast enough. so well if u made another video showing doing every step correctly. maybe we could spot another error.

On another thought. Are u on 3.1.2? and did u do each step of the tutorial hence change the two files permissions to 777.

dont mean to ask alot it just narrows down the problems.

I am uploading a new video, i am on 3.1.2 and i set the permissions to 777. did every step correctly as far i can remember. if no one knows whats the problem is after the new video i will post in 5 min i will try to do the hole process again.

My iPod touch work's fine.. u need just to turn on the PS3 whenon your ipod start running droid OS (u can understand when it happen, just looking the colour of the output text: when you select on openiboot droid OS you will see WHITE texts, when Droid OS start, all the texts became grey or light brown).
when the text change colour turn on you PS3 (u need to listen the BIP) then press for 2-3 times eject.. but you need to do it very fast..
