First make sure you gotten over the simple issues:
-iPhone 3G with OpeniBoot and PSFreedom installed
-PS3 on 3.41 (nothing lower or higher; if lower update to 3.41 via USB)
-Flash drive

If you couldn't get it running (no Install package files + unrecognized usb device), there's a simple solution; just unplug your iPhone and plug it back in quickly when the lines stop scrolling.

Unplug here:
[70,000] s3c-hsotg s3c-hsotg: s3c-hsotg_ep_diable

Wait about a good 15 seconds then unplug your iPhone 3G and restart it in iOS.

Plug in your flash drive with manager.pkg in the root of it, and install.

Your done!


Few extra things to note:
-You will always need you iPhone to run the jailbreak to run the backup manger (or whatever homebrew apps you have)
-Don't install iDroid because you will DELETE PSFreedom
