I need a device that can run the PSFreedom jailbreak.

I have the Samsung Moment and it looks like the port for the phone will never be finished, so I've begun looking for alternatives.

I have looked at a TI-84 Plus but it is $80... Not worth using only for the jailbreak.

Anyone got any cheap and decent recommendations? I have access to an HTC EVO, but it's my mother's (Yes, I'm 22 and I still live with my parents... Eat me lol) and I'd have to root the phone first, then install the JB... No way she'd let me do that.

Please don't tell me I'm screwed until the Moment's port comes out... By then I'll have Black Ops...

Well I went and traded in a handful of PS3 games I haven't touched in months so I ended up getting around $87, and spent $5 on smokes (yes, it costs that much in Missouri. Camel Filters are expensive). So I might just give in and buy the Calculator. We carry them where I work so I'm going to go in tomorrow and see if we have any in stock. If not, Best Buy, Radio Shack and possibly Wal-mart might have them, so I should find one tomorrow.

My phone is the Samsung Moment, which has a different processor than most of the other Android phones that have them. I already rooted the thing hoping it would be done by now... If I was good at programing I'd make it myself but I haven't a clue about programing for Linux based OS'.

If I do get one, I'll post here for a mod to close. Until then, keep making suggestions as it might help someone else.

Also, the Teensy++ is still out of stock is it not? I saw it for $5 on a website, it looks complex to set up but appears to be the cheapest thus far.

dont go with the teensy++ unless you have skills in soldering or flashing with whatever you flash on a teensy++ i know you flash something though...also calculator is easy and usefull in life to!

I used the TI-84 calculator, I got mine where i work, Its going to pay for itself this weekend, its up to you what you want to do, using the calculator i think is easy, load the app on, then jailbreak it

That's the thing... I want to host lobbies, but people don't really want to pay. If I did charge, it'd be probably $2.50 a person or something cheap. With everyone scrambling to get into a lobby, I could probably get the money back. Guess I'll just charge until I get the money back and then start doing it for free... But that wouldn't be fair to the people who paid is it?

Also another question. I want to be certain before I actually go and do this and find out I just wasted money.

Since my 3.41 PS3 has a dead BD Drive, if I just use the transfer utility to move the MW2 patch from my 3.50 PS3 to my 3.41 PS3, I should still be able to get the mods working correct? Or could I simply use the "install pkg files" application and it would work to?

I will be new to the Jailbreak scene and I will obviously have to tinker with a patch to get it working properly.
