The PS3 whose HDD it is is broken and it tells me to format when putting it into my working PS3, so my question is, how can i get the save games off that HDD and onto my other PS3s HDD. I have the jailbreak on my working PS3 so if there is a way with ftp or something i could try that, but i just need these saves files as im like 25 hours into FF13 and i cant face starting again.

If your hard drive is broken you can't do anything about it I'm afraid. They only thing you can do is download the games saves from internet and look for one which is at a similar stage in the game to yours.

Sorry i didn't make it clear. It is the other PS3 that is broken, the HDD for that PS3 is fine, i just don't know how i can get the data off that HDD. I have the jailbreak so could i use it as an external HDD for the FTP server or?

Only way you could do anything is if you backed up your ps3.

Hmm the only thing i can suggest is to decrypt your HDD with the gamesaves and then find the saves and put them on a usb stick

yh think your best bet is to go on the internet and get game saves
