but im sure some people have experienced the troubles of not having there discs read, i myself have sent in my ps3 once due to this.
but at the time i did not know about this.
if you go into a demo of any game. press ps button. you should see the XMB. Go to games and your disc should be there. [as long as there is one in the ps3 obviously]
If that doesnt work well hate to break it to yuh..
need to get that thing fixed.
again this is for people whos ps3 wont read the discs normally
its a suggestion that might save them some money.

There are lots of ways a competent person can fix the disc read error problems themselves. Cleaning the lens, replacing the laser assembly are not that hard in terms of technically knowledge.

And they cost a hell of a lot less then paying sony $150+ to fix it.

i know this is just a suggestion to lazy people such as myself.
