i just bought the PS3 JailBreak modchib
I have 3.41 ps3

but when I turned in My PS3 its shows a message " unknown usb device has been connected" and the Ps3 Jailbreak light is red and it doesn't change

Is there any solution to this problem?

is the problem from the USB?

where did you buy it from

did you turn off in back off system then turn back on then press power eject fast and it should read then =D

you didnt hit power and eject quick enough also make sure the ps3 is completely off before you start the jailbreak process

step per step for the NOOBS among us:

TURN OFF POWER (switch at the backside)
TURN ON POWER (same switch of course )
PRESS POWER BUTTON (in front this time)
PRESS EJECT BUTTON (really fast after power button.. hit both in under a second)

If you have a slim youd need to unplug it.

this is how i do it.

power ps3 on eject the disc.

turn ps3 off and remove power cable.

insert jailbreak, remove any other usb devices.

power cable back in.

turn ps3 on at the front, wait a second and press eject twice to be sure. it should take a extra second or two loading the ps3 up.


done now your ps3 is jailbroken
