(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I backed up one of my ps3 games and after it was installed...well I didnt press x to load it because I wasnt sure which one to load...because two of them were there since I had the disc in still...either way I went back into the menu instead because according to the install it was done...because it got to 100%...was I suppose to take out the disc and load the game for it to show up under games? I'd appreciate an answer asap I kind of want to make sure I do it right today. My parents arent too happy xD I installed everything just fine on my own I just was confused as to why it wouldnt load the game.

WHAT!?...Since when? Then what about games that are downloaded then what? Do I still need a disc in the system? :l That is wrong I read a tutorial on how to back up a game and it said you can load it without the disc. I can link you to proof if you want.

You Can have ANY CD IN THERE no matter what backup it is.

Then what is the point in having the Backup Manager that allows you to not have to use a disc? I got v2 of the manager that supposedly allows the backups to load without a disc in the system...

You never read my post. I said I have that version.

now I got another issue. I got a game downloaded but it won't backup onto my Ps3. THAT is now my issue, it does work though you guys were right having a disc in worked except one thing...I dont want to load my game off my goddamn usb stick....I want to backup the game onto the hdd. Why won't the "backup" option show up on there?

OH! and another thing...version 2 of backup manager is useless....it STILL requires a disc to be in the system.

That doesn't answer my question as to why the "backup" option doesn't show up...-__-

Can’t trickshot me!
well if you have downloaded it. then u could either burn it to a disc ( personal find this pointless). Or use FTP sever to put it into the games folder in the internal hdd of the ps3. Smile

Thank you for your response. Technically you were more helpful then they were. BUT I am all set up now, I am using that open source backup manager, which DOES allow me to backup my games I downloaded. Not sure why the other manager wouldnt let me but yet the open source one does. I find it funny and odd. lol Had to do this all on my own since I couldn't get any responses from anyone from any site I was on.
