I backed up my PS3 on 3.41. Would I still be able to restore it if the PS3's firmware was on 3.50 or higher? I'm wondering because I have a hacked MW2 patch and need to know if I need to re-backup my PS3 again before taking a risk of restoring it in the future and losing it.

Wouldn't it be possible for someone to backup their PS3 with modded patch files for games, have them upload it online, someone downloads it, and make it work on their PS3?
