Are there any other options or any ways to directly hook the ethernet cable to the computer to make it work? I know i set the FTP stuff up right, the only problem is I live on campus at a college and our internet settings our so strict I cant connect to anyone else. Thanks for the help!

Well ud be surprised at the amount of people that make one little mistake when setting it up. simple as not changing it to ftp,leaving it as scp or something. Are u using filezilla or winscp or what??
