There are plenty of cheap clones out there but personally I wouldn't touch them.
Most of them are using the less expensive pic chip not the not the more expensive programmable Atmel chips -
be careful before buying.
Case in point ; the first release of "PS3break" came with the Atmel chip, now they are selling them with the pic chip and a fake upgrade button.
... Yet on the site they still claim that they are update-able.
PSGroove is being improved and tweaked all the time so I wouldn't bother with anything that's not update-able.
The original PS Jailbreak is update-able and as far as I know can be bought for around $125 US.

The cheapest programmable board would probably be one of the Teensy USB Development Boards for around $24 US. But there is no stock at present.
There are many other development boards out there ... Maximus AVR for one, but my choice is the Minimus AVR USB. A new case for it will be available in a couple of weeks.
