Instructions
Difficulty: Easy

Things You'll Need:

* PS3
* Universal TV remote
* PS3IRX1 USB dongle

PS3IRX1 Solution

1. Plug the PS3IRX1 USB dongle into the USB port on the PS3.

2. Program your universal remote using PS2 IR universal codes.

3. Your universal remote will now work with your PS3, and you can control all of your devices with one remote. All PS3 interface buttons should work, including the PlayStation button and power on and off functions.

I happen to have a slim but I'm not sure if it works on the other model.
