Post: Back to 3.41 from ps3 Full Format??

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So i was wondering, if you do a Full Format on Ps3 will it reset you firmware to the first ever firmware??? And if it did i heard you can update to 3.41 from a USB. Someone please answer....

doesn't it save the firmware you are on already, just taking you back to it ?

as far as I have read you can't downgrade, which is annoying alot of people.
I have a ps3 on 3.41 but can't jailbreak as have nothing to do it with. :(
So i'm stuck using the brothers.

You can update via USB by downloading the 3.41 OFW from Sony but formatting I have no clue wat that does but it is stored on he NAND so I don't think it will do anything

Already been answered hundreds of times. No you cannot downgrade.
The fw is stored in the NAND flash. You cannot access it.

AS of now there is no way to reset or downgrade fw it is stored in you hdd and there is no way to get it out yet!
