As we all know, 3.42 stopped Jb by stopping developer mode, Im sure there are more developer modes for testing unsigned ps3 games
All we need to do is go through PS3 coding and find out how to enable it, otherwise game developers would have to just release the game without testing bugs

2)
The Infectable Patch
This is a Mw2 hack that I was thinking of
Imagine the option to get the modded patch via Infection in a modded lobby.
This could stop about 40% of peoples needs as they only want PSJailbreak to host lobbys

3)
Going Back to basics
hunter128 and unkn0wn both know how to host lobbies without Psjailbreak apparently so they both know how to get access and edit files inside Ps3. If All Hackers worked together, we could figure out how to do it from the clues that they give
I do have 2 Influence Glitchers Devs working on it
Ill report news ASAP

My Question:
Does anyone have any news on geohots OtherOs Reinstall

Hackers are greedy, work solo, and waste their own time purely to make money. We are trough feeders, after the no.1 hackers filter the good stuff and hide it from us.

Co-operation is a nono. Unless you offer money. Even then, I wouldn't trust those slimy bastards.

As for 1)
There is an industrial hardware piece, I am pretty sure someone on NGU was selling one for just over a thousand dollars. It was stolen (or 'aquired' from a ps3 technical service station). Its what they use to unlock the system to fix software problems. This device is also what developers and bug testers use.

2)
Its illogical. Who is going to host a modded patch which gives the buyers the opportunity to steal their customers? Nobody. All the hackers that could make this 'patch_ff' infection possible will not ruin the chances of making thousands of dollars to please hundreds of thousands of people. Its just not their thing.

Good ideas, all highly unlikely.

I Do Agree
Hunter128 and unkn0wn are greedy
However my team are not
We Do Hacks For All Games and host free cl's just to hear them scream thankyou
Im will look into the coding for the infectable patch and if I do it, I will be the most hated person in the world to hackers but I will get our name across

You wanna join Influence Glitchers?

I still got an idea testing it out in an hour.

The theory is simple.

When i put the external hdd in the ps3 i only have assec to:"Video/Photo/Music"

But when i use ps3media server i have assec to: Everything in the map

So my idea is let the ps3 think the v3.41 firmware is a Video/Photo/Music and it lets the ps3 install it to let it downgrade.

You talkin to me?
1) Developers use a Debug Console...
2) Impossible... /dev_bdvd/ has no write access to /dev_hdd0/ - GameOS updates the patch before you say something.
3) All they must've done, is using 2 PS3's, use Linux to access the HDD, and then backup and restore to 2nd PS3...

Game Patches and System Firmware Updates are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT...

RFOM has nothing to do the jailbreaking...
