It might, ask a sales clerk when it was shipped there. See if it was shipped before or after the update.

read the articles on google. a friend of minewas telling me about an article he read about bestbuy opening the new PS3s and updating them and then tacking on a $30 charge for doing so. Essentially they cannot charge you full price for a system that would be considered open box. Get a gamestop refurb. or search ebay. There is a guy selling refurbs with a 500GB HDD for like 249

Atleast make sure that its some that can easily be fixed if your going to do that...

i buy the new ps3 with 320gb + Move + Eye + Starter Disck 339,00 Euro with 3.40 Firmware

the new ps3s being shipped have 3.40 or 3.30 fw on them, if you get a new one just update to 3.41 via a usb stick not through the internet, but your firmware MUST be lower than 3.41 for it to work

The playstation move bundles come with version 3.40 installed and thats the newest ps3 so you should be good
