Can this device be used to jailbreak the PS3 I am in Aus and looking for the cheapest legal option for the PS3 Jailbreak.

So the bottom line is Will this device JailBreak my PS3 to allow me to host CL?

you can get a TI84 for less on ebay..
& calculators were still legal last time i checked xD

Technically, there is no "legal" jailbreak unless you live in Australia.

USB ATMEGA and Atmel development boards are 100% legal in every country. They have many more uses then just the ps3 jb.

I would honestly look for a slightly lesser expensive option then that. Plenty of them out there.
