i think they also need to be signed too if i rember correctly im sure thers a few helpful threads on .pkg and maybe 1 or 2 hackers that can get u upto the checksum part imo your best bet would be tricking the ps3 to going into service mode so you can manualy add and remove firmware and other files and add your own

this method wont work at all without having sony signature as the guys said above but not bad thinking mate :y:
