(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know i probably am wrong but cant you just take out your ps3's hard-drive then manually transfer your patch then just fix the checksum n shit? It sounds pretty pratically unless it is like military grade encrytion or some next level shite.:black:

firmware is stored to the nand file. not the hard drive. if it was that easy, the community wouldnt be in such an uproar about finding the solution to the 3.5 firmware problem.

well its not really a file but its something in the ps3. sorry gotta fix that one lol. im not quite to sure what everything does yet but im trying to learn as much as i can atm with programming etc to see if i can help the community out a bit. when the psp was out, dark alex used the exploit in gta to create the first custom firmwares. pretty much all i know about nand atm. all i know is that its important and encrypted like fuuuuuuuuçk

Do you mean connecting the hard drive to a computer and changing the patches around? I doubt it cause i think the hard drive is extremely encrypted.

Nope when you try to install lower firmware any way you get told that nothing is detected cause it is looking for the latest firmware or above Smile so sorry this will never work :y:

from when the psps was out the cfw is like the backup managers we have for the ps3 except it was built into the xmb. you could just put all your iso files in a /game/ folder and launch them from the xmb.
