And was wondering How many times i could downgrade.

I dont have the cash for 2 ps3 right now so i wanna downgrade form 3.50 to 3.41 to JB and put MW2 W@W ECT files on it. Then upgrade to 3.50 to play online. Would i be able to re-downgrade?

If you update after doing it you still have your custom patches and you could play online yes, im still in the 3.50 firmware with the dns bypass thingy. The 3.55 update prevents downgrading so when i do mine im going to update to 3.50 and use the bypass patch way because i will probably downgrade like you again and do some other hacks for other games.

ya maybe somebody can tell us how many times we can downgrade

so check this out im at 3.50 and hopefully im wishing for a x3max for christmas to jailbreak the 3.50and put the patches i want on it and wen im done i wanna update to 3.55 will i still have that patch on the ps3 or will i be screwed.. ill co-host any1 who makes my understandings more accurate

You will still have the patch AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT reformat the hdd

But what i recommend doing is instead of 1 patch get 1 patch use the back up method name that patch get 6-7 patches so u have different other than just one patch

how much gb's do i need to backup my ps3?

It depends how much stuff u have on it.. i used a 1 gb mem card and i backed up 2 i think not 3 but thats cuz i had alot of demos and stuff i recomend using a 8gb mem stick

u baked up 2 patches with a 1gb?i have a 4gb and it wont let me lol maybe cause all da movies and songs but thnx
