(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Quick extra noob question.
What are payloads?
I jailbreak using ti-84 and I put hermes v4 on it.
I have no idea what it does though.
I know there are other payloads and obviously hemes has other versions, but what are they for and what are the differences?

I did use the search but I'm guessing this is such a noob question that I cant find a payload FAQ. also the search returns a bunch of threads talking about new payloads.

Is there anyway to know if I successfully loaded hermes v4? I see the "/app_home/PS3_GAME/" and "Install Package Files" folder thing, but I thought was just from jailbreaking.
Is that what hermes v4 adds? And do all payloads at least add those?

that is for backing up games thats where they are on your ps3 and payloads are the coding that is loaded up during the bootup of your ps3 which allows you to do different things like previously said

I thought hermes v4 allowed you to use retail pkg's?

Please don't just tell me to go to there website I will pay vbux for a in depth tutorial but I have looked on their website and have found nothing useful. The better the tutorial the more vbux. Make sure you quote this post or PM me so I don't forget.

to get a Ti-84 to connect to your computer delete your ram memory to reset it or reset it same thing and then install the it connect and plug your usb in with both the calc and computer and it will conect and to set any payload then the orignall you have to change the settings which is 5 on the calc once you start the jb app in apps
