This is very odd, since I have used the FTP program with no problems before. Also, I am on 3.41 and know this because I just re-downgraded.

what ftp server on ps3 do u use?
i prefer Blackbox (1.2)
connect LAN cable to pc
start Blackbox
if u get a IP evrything is right
if not check your settings

Hey i have the same problem but how do i change the ip address on my pc i have changed it on the ps3

windows xp - right mouse click on lan connection -> settings -> ip -> ...

Problem resolved itself. Mods please close.

click run. then type in the box cmd - no capitals. then when the black box appears type ip config. then hit enter. scroll up.look for IPv4 Address - there ya go your ip is there.

i could never do prestige hack, the ip on the patch blocker was different to my ps3, i want to buy a 3.41 ps3 and jb but i dont know if it will connect or not, is there any way i could get the ip the same or is it normal that its different on ftp?
