Not sure if this is the right place to post so if it is wrong feel free to move it

I'm looking to get into challenge lobbys among other things for the PS3....on looking up modchips i see there is quite a wide variety...Just looking for some advice on which is the best for Quality, Durability, Value, Reliability and Speed

My PS3 is latest firmware so can i use this(or something similar) to downgrade it You must login or register to view this content. and does this install on the ps jailbreak modchip only?

You cannot downgrade if you are on the latest firmware(3.55).
You can only downgrade if you are on 3.50 or below.

well i would need to buy a second ps3 anyway....i could just find one with old firmware then choose the firmware i want and usb update it....

Ok, if you are going to but a PS3 with FW 3.41 on it...

If so, Jailbreak iwth that instead of wasting money.

whats the story with the e3?
Is it both a card reader and a modchip....do you drop the patch onto the flash memory in it?
