(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey everyone,

I don't know what got me thinking about this, but I had a question about putting a clobby patch on a PS3, and wanted to see if this would be a viable solution to changing patches. I have a hard drive Caddy (device to read hard drives via USB on PC), and I was wondering whether I could remove the HDD from the PS3 and plug it into the caddy, and change the patch via the PC. Would this work?

Thanks.

I just bought a Sata-II 60 GB HDD in the hope I would be able to 'reset' my PS3 in a way so that the 3.55 FW which is currently on it would be gone...but sadly I forgot that the FW isn't kept on the HDD...

So I'm gonna have a shot at this Smile
I'm downloading PS3HDD studio and already have a USB transfer cable for the HDD...

I'll tell ya how this works out >.>
