I know that when playing newly made games on a PS3, it prompts you to update your system in order to play the game. So, my dad is getting Formula 1 2010 for Christmas. However, he thinks that the ps3 on the 3.41 fw is his and he wants to use it for himself. But, he doesn't know that what I'm using it for. Is there any method to getting a game like Formula 1 2010 to play on the 3.42 fw.

Try this, I no its not for Formula 1, but should work the same.

Yea but where am I going to find the .pkg for Formula 1.

And also, I tried this with Black Ops. I downloaded the .pkg file then when I tried installing it on my ps3 it gave me an error.
