According to the website i found with a compatibility list for the jailbreak.

F1 2010 only requires firmware 3.41 so you should be okay

However i don't no how accurate the compatibility list is.

Its on a well known PS3 Hacks web site. (Not sure if posting the website name would be classed as advertising).
